A Magnificent and Rare Hanging Head “Dragonfly” Floor Lamp by Tiffany Studios.
Given Cincinnati’s own significant role in the decorative arts movement, Robinson Sotheby’s International Realty is excited to announce an incredible auction from our friends at Sotheby’s featuring some of Tiffany’s most renowned creations. Thoughtfully curated over two decades, the extraordinary Tiffany collection of William A. Richardson is that of a true connoisseur. Demonstrating an encyclopedic range of the glass studio’s production, the collection showcases Tiffany’s most iconic designs, from lush florals to luminous geometrics. Sotheby’s is honored to present a dedicated auction of this remarkable collection on December 13th. Among the many highlights are a breathtaking Hanging Head ‘Dragonfly’ Floor Lamp and an ‘Elaborate Peony’ Table Lamp as well as rare examples of the firm’s mosaics, fancy goods, and lead-glass windows. The associates here at Robinson Sotheby’s International Realty are pleased to share the news that Lee Robinson was named a “Kentucky Colonel” by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The commission of Kentucky Colonel is the highest title of honor bestowed by the Governor of Kentucky. Lee was nominated by his good friend, Bill Butler, Chairman and CEO of Corporex Companies LLC. It is entirely appropriate that Bill be the one to nominate Lee as these two fellows are cut from the same cloth.
Bill’s story: From a one-man construction shop, (the W.P. Butler Construction company), Bill built up Corporex into a diversified real estate company with more than $1 billion of real estate assets. Mr. Butler is dedicated to community service and fiduciary responsibility to shareholders. He founded The Butler Foundation and Life Learning Center. Presently, he serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Lindner Center of HOPE, Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and The Butler Foundation.
Lee’s story: Lee began his career like the hundreds of others who become real estate agents every year. Unlike many of his fellow agents, Lee threw himself into every aspect of real estate. His intense desire to acquire knowledge is reflected in his subsequent education. Lee has earned the most educational designations of any area real estate agent. He is now one of the most knowledgeable, experienced and productive professionals in the entire State of Ohio.
Lee opened his own brokerage in 1986 and did business as Robinson Realtors until 2010, when Sotheby’s International Realty sought him out to become the local affiliate in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
