Iconic Modern Architecture in Ancient Ibiza

We partner with over 990 Sotheby’s real estate offices in 72 countries. Each month we showcase a home from one of these partners. Our feature home this month is located in Ibiza, Spain.

Ibiza is one of the sun-drenched Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea, east of Valencia, Spain. Famous for its vibrant night life, 100 miles of coastline, and sublime Mediterranean climate, Ibiza has attracted visitors from around the world for decades. Two national parks provide excellent opportunities to enjoy Ibiza’s natural beauty without distraction. Explore the labyrinth of quiet, cobbled streets that wind through historic Dalt Vila. Also known as the Old Town, Dalt Vita is a UNESCO World Heritage site that is home to several cultural attractions, including an Arabian fortress.

In stunning contrast to Ibiza’s medieval architecture is the uniquely vibrant, avant-garde Las Boas. This iconic building and Ibizan landmark was designed by world-renowned architect, Jean Nouvel. Featuring one of the largest swimming pools on the island, direct waterfront access, and a short stroll to the city center, Las Boas is prized for its enviable location.

The property itself, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, is the perfect pied-à-terre. It features an open-plan living area with a stylish galley kitchen and dining area, and leads out onto the spacious terrace overlooking the pool. The master bedroom is spacious and light-filled, and has an en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers equally comfortable accommodation. The development at Las Boas has a huge free-form swimming pool, a gym with sauna, children’s play area, underground parking and storage facilities.
